The MathRoms form a series of four cd-roms featuring the character Vic with all sorts of math exercises. Each cd-rom is built around a theme, with Vic in appropriate disguises ans is aimed at certain groups of kids between the age of 4 and 12.

The structure of each cd is the same: 3 types of exercises at 7 levels plus an extra 'game'-exercise. The 7 levels start with a low threshold 'startup' level, introducing the exercise in a simple way, and build up to the highest 'brainiac' level with problems to really sink your teeth in.

With the exercises you can earn a reward, which is different for each type and level of exercise. The rewards can be viewed in the screensaver section of the cd-rom. With MathRom#1 for instance you collect coloured fishes that populate your very own fishtank.

With the MathRoms, a part from the content, a lot of effort went into creating an interactive environment with coulourfull 3D images and animations. All texts were read by the famous Dutch actress and performer Loes Luca. The MathRoms were published by Het Spectrum.
